Coco Wellness Collective Inc. ("Coco Collective," "we," "us," or "our") is a Palm Beach County, Florida 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We care about your privacy the same way we care about our community: with respect, transparency, and no fine print designed to trip you up. This policy explains what information we collect through cocowellnesscollective.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to stay in touch and keep the site running:
- Information you give us. When you join our email list, we collect your email address and, if you choose to share it, your first name. If you tell us how you'd like to be part of the village (for example, in reply to a welcome email), we keep that so we can reach out appropriately.
- Donation information. When you donate, payment is processed by PayPal. We receive confirmation of your gift and any contact details you choose to share, but we never see or store your full card or bank details — those stay with PayPal.
- Basic technical information. Like most websites, our host may log standard information such as browser type and general location for security and performance. We do not use this to identify you personally.
How we use your information
- To send you updates about Coco Collective, our programs, and ways to give and receive care.
- To respond to you and understand how you'd like to be involved.
- To process and acknowledge donations, and to meet our record-keeping and legal obligations as a registered nonprofit.
- To keep the website secure and working well.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
The tools we rely on
We keep our technology simple and use a small number of trusted third-party services, each with its own privacy practices:
- Flodesk — manages our email list and sends our newsletters.
- PayPal — processes donations securely.
- Google Fonts — delivers the typefaces used on this site.
We share information with these providers only as needed to deliver the service, and we choose partners who handle data responsibly.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies to keep the site running smoothly and to remember your cookie preference so we don't ask twice. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner shown on your first visit, and you can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as you're part of our community or as long as needed to fulfill the purposes above and meet legal and accounting requirements. You can ask us to remove you at any time.
